Day 1-To Bwindi NP for your Luxury gorilla trekking tour

Leave Entebbe or Kampala for your road trip to Bwindi. The  Park is home to half the number of mountain gorillas in the whole world. Bwindi is the only place where chimpanzees co-exist with Mountain Gorillas. You will as well have a stopover at the Equator crossing for photography hence continue to Mbarara town for Lunch. Immediately, you will set off for your lovely drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 2- Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

Done with early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration. Here, you will join others for a briefing about do’s and don’ts during your Gorilla Trek. For this reason, you will move through thick trees with your guides to find the Gorillas. This can take you from half an hour to three-quarters of the day.

The forested park is not only thick but also so dense however marked by lots of animal trails. Therefore this eases access to tourists. While walking, you will likely see other animals, birds, and rare tree types. After finding them, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Meanwhile, you will head back to the Park offices.

This is due to the many small birds in this area. The lake is said to be the deepest lake in Uganda and second deepest in East Africa. One will visit this lake for its beauty. Likewise, it is one of the best place to chill after your trek. Other activities you can do around the lake are canoe rides and walks.
